HIGH DEF- www.youtube.com I bring to you one of my all time favourite songs. It was written in 1927 by the Gershwin brothers for a hit musical by the name of "Funny Face"...which I am sure some of you will recognize. It has been covered by such greats as Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, Sarah Vaughn, Ray Charles, and Coleman Hawkins...that being just the tip of the grand iceberg. The version I bring to you may be my all time fav...it is the great John Pizzarelli's. It is from his 2005 album "Knowing You". It is absolutely marvelous!! The thing that I love about this version is the simplicity of it all. On piano we have the tremendously talented Mr. Ray Kennedy...who is not only a first class pianist but a first class gentlemen.
